You may have noticed in other pictures that most of the walls in our rented location are covered with mirrors. This was done years ago when it was a restaurant to make it appear larger and brighter. The only problem is that all of the mirrors are distracting during a church service. It is easy to look into the faces of those seated nearby. It is also strange to see yourself a dozen times in the many reflections around the room. We recently found some special contact paper that is designed for window privacy. We carefully cut and placed the plastic sheets , even managing to use a creative style. The ends include the shape of a cross. It was certainly nice to have a new look at the front of the church.
We have jokingly said that our church should be called "Vanity Baptist Church" because of all the mirrors! It is amazing how creative and flexible you can become on the mission field! Thanks to my parents who were visiting for their help in this little project.
