Back to School...

We found ourselves back at school this week. We had a great time at Sheets Memorial Christian School in Lexington, NC. Each year the school has a missons conference for the student body. Each day we spent time teaching the students about Peru and missions. We especially enjoyed all the questions. One first-grade student was amazed that we didn't have Wal*Mart in Peru! All the students were horrified to hear that guinea pigs are a popular dish rather than a household pet! We hope each student finished the week knowing what missions is really all about and the great needs around the globe.

It is common for us to receive an honorarium for speaking at a church or school. Our girls were especially blessed. This weeks offerings were not for mom and dad, but were a gift from the student body just for them! Elizabeth was so excited that the students had collected money just for her!
