The television, radio, and newspapers are filled with ideas for helping the hurricane victims. It has been wonderful to watch the loving generosity of the American people during this tragedy. Wouldn't it be even more wonderful to see Christians using the disaster as a way to reach out to folks effected by the storm?
BMM missionaries Roger and Lonie Price live in Louisiana and are using the disaster as a way of sharing the Gospel. Funds donated to the Baptist Mid-Missions "World Relief Fund" will go directly to the Prices so they can help meet the physical needs of people while sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. The opportunities are endless!
We were recently visiting in a church and the pastor announced that the church would be making a donation to the Red Cross. After making the church aware of the Price family and the World Relief Fund, the church made their donation to BMM. The church believes that their funds can make a greater impact in the spiritual lives of people by going through Baptist Mid-Missions. If you are wanting to make a donation to help those effected by the storm and want it to help spread the Gospel, consider this fund.
