Thanks to all of you that faithfully check-in on our family by reading our blog. I am sorry that it's been a long while since we last updated this journal! There just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day!
We continue to be amazed at the Lord's blessings in our lives. We just completed a week-long missions conference in one of our supporting churches in Lexington, NC. This was the 75th anniversary of the church and the conference highlighted the church's many years of missions emphasis. They also had special activities planned for the missionaries during the day. One day we traveled to a zoo-like ranch to watch exotic animals up-close from horse drawn carriages. Another day there was bowling with the teens. They even took us shopping one day and gave us money to spend! The conference was a real time of encouragment for us all.
We were unable to attend the final closing services of the conference because of a tiny little surprise. As you know, Olivia Joy arrived on that Sunday morning and has been a blessing to the family ever since.
